To the lighthouse

For 120 years, the Rubjerg Knude lighthouse has been perched on a sand dune on the northern Danish coast, but costal erosion from the North Sea winds threatened to topple it into the sea.
Now the lighthouse has been saved, it was lifted it up and moved 70m (230ft) inland.
Alex and I went to the lighthouse last Sunday to watch the sunset over the huge dunes.
It was a most beautiful clam evening.
The sunset didn’t disappoint.
Jelly looking lovely in the evening sun
You can climb to the top of the lighthouse, but we were happy to sis in the sand.
The lighthouse.
