One of the best things about living here is that I can walk out my front door and walk for miles in the most beautiful countryside.
I do not as a rule take my camera or cell phone (unless I am expecting an important call) as they distract.
I thought every now and then as the season changes I would bring along the camera and share my walk with you. First I walk through the woods.
Along the path by the wheat fields.
Along the track to nowhere, it ends in the middle of a field.
There is such an abundance of colourful wild flowers it is difficult to choose the ones to photograph.
Even the man-made structures enhance the beauty of nature.
I totally love the way the wheat looks fluffy and inviting, dont you want to just dive in?
Along the track towards the farm.
Cornflowers.
The only piece of rubbish I came accross on my walk and even that was beautiful, I took it home.
Cornflowers and dasies, my favourite.
Silver.
Back to gold.
On my way home.
A Scottish memory.
Back along the track by the wheat field.
Throught the woods.
Along the new path I just made and got a very painful sting on the lip ( I looked like I had been in a punch up!) by a hornet whos nest I had disturbed, ouch!
Then home.
Finally some flowers outside my studio.
I am so lucky to have all this and more just outside my door, the wonderful thing is it changes so much, it all depends on what the farmer grows, the weather, the time of day and my mood.
Brenda, this is absolutely wonderful. And you are an expert photographer.
Thank you so much for the lovely comments, its such a beautful country its hard to go wrong with photos.
